Q: What happens if my child has a fever?

A: If your little one has a fever, we’ll treat them with the utmost care and a bit of TLC (Tender Loving Care, not the 90s RnB group). We’ll notify you, of course, and request that you come pick them up for a cozy day at home. After all, nobody wants to be “that kid” who shares germs like it’s a game of tag! Important Note: We cannot administer medication to keep the fever at bay—that needs to be done at home. Your child will also need to be fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to daycare. We want to ensure everyone stays happy and healthy—after all, sharing is caring, but not when it comes to germs!

Q: When is tuition due?

A: Tuition, co-pays, and any fees are due every Monday morning—like clockwork! Whether your child is off on a grand adventure (a.k.a. vacation), battling a nasty cold, or if the center is closed (God forbid we get a day off), the tuition is still due. Think of it as a subscription to the “Joy of Learning”—and just like that gym membership, it’s due, no matter if you go or not!

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

A: We like to keep things simple and digital around here—so no cash, please! That’s right, not a single penny, nickel, or dime. All payments must be made through the Brightwheel app. Think of it as our high-tech treasure chest where you can securely and conveniently pay for all the fun (and learning) your little adventurer will have with us!

Q: What happens if I don’t pay on time?

A: Ah, the dreaded late payment! If payment isn’t received by Monday, a $20 late fee will magically appear on your account—like a surprise party, but less fun. If your account is two weeks past due or $50 in arrears, we’ll have to hit pause on our services. It’s not personal; it’s just business!Additionally, when you do make a payment, it will be applied to the oldest outstanding balance first, like a time-traveling payment that likes to go back in time. So, let’s keep those payments on time.

Q: Are payments refundable?

A: Sorry, but all payments are as final as your New Year’s resolutions! Once you pay, it’s done—no refunds. Think of it as a ticket to the amusement park: once you’re in, you can’t get your money back, even if the roller coaster makes your stomach flip! Disputes or chargebacks? Not on our watch! If you go that route without permission, expect some extra fees to pop up like surprise clowns at a birthday party. So, let’s keep the fun rolling without any backtracking!

Q: Do I still have to pay my co-pay or tuition if my child is absent?

A: Yes, indeed! Co-payments and tuition are still due, even if your little one is taking a day off. Think of it this way: that spot is like a reserved seat at a concert—just because your child isn’t there doesn’t mean it’s available for someone else! So, while they’re off having adventures, the tuition keeps the lights on and ensures there’s a spot for more fun and learning upon their return!

Q: What happens if I’m late picking up my child?

A: If you’re running late, we have a fee system to keep things fair. Here’s how it breaks down per child:

1st time: $5 for the 1st minute and $1 per minute after that
2nd time: $10 for the 1st minute and $2 per minute after that
3rd time: $20 for the 1st minute and $2 per minute after that
4th time: $30 for the 1st minute and $2 per minute after that

Just a heads up: late fees must be paid in full before your child can return. After the 4th instance, we may need to consider terminating care. Our staff has been working all day, and they want to go home to their families too, so let’s work together to keep those pick-up times on track! If a child is left for over an hour, they will be taken to the nearest police station, and care will be terminated.

Q: What if my child won’t need pickup from school on a certain day?

A: If plans change and your child won’t need pickup, just let us know by 10 AM that day. This way, we can adjust our schedule accordingly and ensure everything runs smoothly. Your timely communication helps us keep everything organized and allows us to focus on all the children in our care!

Q: What should my child wear?

A: Dress them in comfortable play clothes—nothing too fancy unless you’re hoping to showcase their spaghetti art! Bonus points if they’re in something that can withstand a paint explosion or two. Please note that Crocs, open-toed shoes, and any uncomfortable footwear are not allowed. We want them to have the freedom to play and explore without any worries!
